A transcript is the official cumulative record of a student’s enrollment at Monroe County Community College. This data is maintained by the Registrar’s Office and is cumulative from a student’s first attendance at MCCC. MCCC will not release a transcript if the student has a financial hold.
A diploma is a document earned when a student achieves graduation from one of MCCC’s programs. A “diploma” is the technical term used for the piece of paper received after graduating.
TYPES OF TRANSCRIPTS
There are two types of transcripts, official and unofficial.
- An official transcript bears the official seal of the college and is used for evaluating and awarding credit toward a degree/certificate. An official transcript must to be sent (electronically or by mail) directly from your previously attended college/university. If you are transferring to MCCC from another institution, you will need to request an official transcript from each college you have attended.
- An unofficial transcript of your MCCC grades may either be printed from myWebPAL or may be obtained in person at no charge upon request. (A picture ID is required.)
Request a Transcript or Replacement Diploma
Monroe County Community College partners with Parchment to manage the ordering, processing and secure delivery of your official MCCC transcripts and replacement diplomas.
This allows for:
- Secure online access to request your transcript 24/7
- Email notification and online tracking abilities when transcripts are processed and received
- The option to request electronic delivery of your transcript
- The ability to upload additional or supplemental forms that are required by the receiving entity to accompany the transcript
After initiating the request, transcripts will be processed in 3-5 business days.
Official Transcript Fees via Parchment:
Digital/Electronic transcript $5.00
Paper/Hard copy transcript $7.50
Any transcript that is issued directly to the student, either by mail or pickup, will be stamped “Issued to Student” and is not typically considered official.
HOW TO ORDER A TRANSCRIPT OR REPLACEMENT DIPLOMA
To order a transcript or replacement diploma, you are required to set up a Parchment account. You will be required to provide your name, birthdate, the last four digits of your Social Security Number (an uploaded copy of your driver’s license is required for a name change), e-mail address, current mailing address, phone number, graduation year or last year attended (if known), student ID Number (if known) and degree type (for replacement diploma). YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW YOUR MCCC LOGIN INFORMATION.
This information is required to ensure proper student matching and contact information if there are any questions on your order. Once you have completed the setup, you will receive a confirmation email from Parchment.
The cost of a transcript is based on the method of delivery. During the ordering process, you will be able to see the exact charge prior to confirming your order.
Transcripts and replacement diplomas must be paid by credit card at the time of the order. Parchment accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Your card will be charged when the order has been sent.

About e-Transcripts
Electronic official transcripts are sent securely through email and will be available for download by the recipient for seven days before expiring. Please verify that the recipient information you provide is correct before finalizing your order. Unfortunately, MCCC will not be able to provide refunds for transcripts that are sent to the wrong recipient email address or for downloads that have been disabled after expiring. Electronic transcripts should be ordered to be sent directly to the intended institution or recipient in order to be considered official.
Replacement diplomas are processed and mailed or ready for pickup five business days after the order is placed.
